Dancehall heats up Melbourne with Aus Dancehall Comp and Fulla Vybz launch

The Aus Dancehall Dance Comp is back in Naarm for its third year, bringing an electrifying night of competition and celebration. Scheduled for September 26, 2026, at the Inflation Entertainment Complex, this event is a must for lovers of Dancehall culture.

The preliminaries will feature categories including Dancehall Queen, Dancehall Solo, and various crew battles, with performances judged by local legends like Tina De Melo and DHQ Gizzmery. Each winner will not only earn the title of Naarm’s Best Dancehall dancer but also snag some cash prizes and trophies. Winning dancers will also gain automatic entry into the Nationals in Sydney on October 17, 2026.

In addition to the competition, the night will mark the launch of Fulla Vybz, a new Dancehall party that promises to bring fresh vibes to Melbourne's nightlife scene. With a lineup featuring Jesse I, DJ Outsider, DJ Nero, and special guest hosts, the official launch aims to keep the energy alive as the night unfolds.
