SOUNDIT Festival's second edition unfolded over two sun-drenched days in July 2026 at Parc Nou, just outside Barcelona. This unique festival, organized by a long-standing local promoter, attracted a diverse crowd with an eclectic lineup that included names like Helena Hauff, Honey Dijon, and the Zenker Brothers. The atmosphere felt almost tranquil, a stark contrast to the big festival complexes that often overshadow smaller events.

Upon arrival, festival-goers were greeted by a friendly Catalonian security guard who filled water bottles, setting a welcoming tone. The festival's ethos is all about intimacy and community, with affordable tickets—€45 for a single day and €75 for the full event. SOUNDIT's organizer, Laura Cabrera Sarabia (aka Dulce), emphasized a focus on quality sound over flashy gimmicks.

The festival's five stages were designed with a DIY aesthetic, featuring visible scaffolding and stripped-back production. Each stage felt self-contained, set apart by the surrounding trees, which added to the intimate vibe. For instance, the main stage, EL.LIPSE, showcased a simple elevated booth, while ECO, known for its bass and dub offerings, featured an impressive wooden sound system.

The festival also introduced a new addition in 2026: RESSÒ, a community radio stage that hosted panels and live performances, reinforcing SOUNDIT's connection to its local roots. This year's setup allowed attendees to engage with the music and each other in a more personal way, contrasting starkly with larger, more commercial festivals.

Headliners like 2manydjs and Honey Dijon delivered sets that energized the crowd, yet the festival maintained a sense of closeness; no one was too far from the action.
